This big old hunk of steel is my 1994 Chevrolet K1500. For the past 2 and a half years this truck has taken me to every lake, pond, and stream tucked back in the woods I could find. Every weekend I would load the bed down with a handful of rods, and big dreams. I grew up in East Central Indiana, the fishing opportunities aren’t great there except for some farm ponds. Sure its has its downsides some questionable reliability and horrible fuel milage. Yet I still drove this old truck to college, and since then its taken me to every body of water I could find around Purdue University.
One of this days this old truck will run out of spark, but until that day it’ll take me to every fishing hole and every next great adventure.
